Ut over Norges grenser

I utlandet heter skolen Acem School of Yoga.

Meditative yoga in Taiwan

After pushing my body in yoga for many years, it was a relief to experience deep stretch without pains in Acem Yoga. Most yoga teachers in Taiwan taught me to get rid of pains by trying to do deep breaths. Maybe this idea comes from the thought of no pain no gain. Very differently in Acem yoga I was able to do yoga without pains. The point was stretching softly with no force. By relaxing the muscles, I could gradually go further and deeper. Doing it this way my body and mind ended up in calmness.

For me impulse yoga was breaking down the binds from strict Taiwanese traditions and family background. Expressing feelings through facial muscles or abdomen was very difficult. Only when I allowed very subtle movements, and continued moving or shaking, I experienced being in the flow of impulses. Then I could let go of my unnecessary rationality. When everything ceased, the inner part of me went toward a deeper silence.

Meditative yoga in Spain

There is a lot of yoga interest in Spain, no matter where you walk, probably you will find a yoga studio. Most of the participants that attend yoga sessions in the Barcelona Acem House have done another form of yoga before. When we ask them about differences we get answers like: It's easier, I was never able to do yoga before because I thought I wouldn't be fit for it, I feel more relaxed afterwards and when combined with meditation the common answer is that they notice they meditate deeper, better.

I have had the opportunity of teaching yoga to Acem meditators from all around the world and I can, without a doubt say that there are no differences when the person is in the flow, then we are just each and every one a human being doing yoga.

Your yoga practice is a mirror of yourself, a kind way to work with your body and mind.
